Respite Care

Many families are committed to caring for their loved ones at home, and the experience is a source of joy. However, the physical and emotional demands on the family caregiver can be overwhelming without support. Our highly trained, professional caregivers can give temporary relief by providing family and/or primary caregivers with a much-needed break to take time off and relax or take care of other responsibilities. Respite care varies from hours, days, or weeks. It has been shown to help sustain family caregiver health and well-being.

Our respite worker is responsible for several tasks related to caring of your love one who's unable to care for themselves.

The responsibilities covered include:

• Helping people get around
• Performing hygiene tasks, such as brushing teeth, bathing, combing hair and changing clothing
• Administering medications and adhering to a strict dosing schedule
• Helping people use the restroom
• Feeding
• Checking vital signs, such as temperature or blood pressure

Life Skills Development Level 1 / Companion

Companion services consist of non-medical care, supervision and socialization activities in direct relation to the achievement of the recipient’s goals as specified in the recipient’s support plan.

Personal Supports

Out staff help Support people with regards to decision making and lifestyle choices enabling them to take control of their own lives, increasing independence.

The responsibilities covered include:

• Care for people and families during periods of illness or recovery.
• Provide bedside and personal care to clients and help them move, bathe, groom and get dressed and undressed.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Helping people use the restroom
• Assisting with eating, dressing, and grooming.

Supported Living Coach

Assist individuals with intellectual/developmental and physical disabilities in all life areas. Duties include but not limited to; assisting with hygiene and attending to everyday life skills associated with the overall maintenance of clients' habitats. Additional job duties entail accompanying some clients to their medical appointments, grocery shopping, and accompaniment to social and recreational venues, meal planning, and preparation as well as light housekeeping.

Transportation

You want to be there with your family member every minute of the day to drive them around for their needs, but you simply can't. When it comes to servicing your love one transport, Our caregivers provide transportation to doctors, hair appointments, grocery shopping, and other miscellaneous errands.

Registered Nurse

When in need of help that requires a more sophisticated level of expertise, you can rely on our registered nurse. Our registered nurse will extend a helping hand if you are in need of professional support when it comes to medications, medical supplies, and such. Rest assured that our nurse has undergone proper training and continually attends seminars to be up-to-date with the recent happenings in health care.

The responsibilities covered include:

• Coordinating with the physician
• Educating the client’s family about the current situation
• Providing professional advice and assistance

Licensed Practical-Nurse

Working under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors, they are capable of performing certain basic nursing tasks. Our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) collaborates with your physician or registered nurse to guarantee that the preparations and procedures are done properly for the betterment and maintenance of your health.

• Checking vital signs
• Keeping track of monitor readings
• Providing the basic needs of the patient

Certified Nursing Assistantes

Certified Nursing Assistants, or CNAs, provide direct care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes and home care. As a vital part of a larger care team, Certified Nursing Assistants help patients with a wide range of basic needs, including eating, bathing, grooming, mobility and more.

The responsibilities covered include:

• Attending to the needs of multiple patients
• Aiding patients with routine tasks, including eating, bathing, dressing and exercise
• Observing and recording patient conditions and vital signs
• Monitoring patient food and liquid intake
• Updating care team on changes in patient condition

Home Health Aides (personal care)

There’s no need to worry about your home because we will be the ones to maintain so you can focus on your recovery. Home Health Aide will provide personal care to clients in their homes as outlined by the client’s individual Plan of Care. All care/tasks provided will be as authorized by the State as acceptable for the level of care in which HHA is functioning and must be detailed on the client’s Home Health Aide Care Plan.

Assist with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, elimination needs, transferring, dressing /undressing, and ambulation.

The responsibilities covered include:

• Accompanies client to medical appointments when approved by the Nursing Supervisor
• Changing linens and making bed
• Laundry washing and folding
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation

Companion & Homemaker Care Services

Our companion care line of home health care services offers daily companionship and assistance with daily living activities. If your loved one is living alone and your visits are limited, social interaction becomes very important to their happiness. Whether they need a little fun or maybe just help keeping house and arranging appointments, we have you covered with home care activities.
